It is not easy to produce “Ma-ana Mikan”. It is not positive to save work by mechanized farming because of the steep terraced farms along hillsides.
Most working processes are not mechanized. That’s why traditional skills have to be exactly taken over cross from one generation to another.
This area can give us “real heartfelt skills” grown up only with this severe environment.
“Ma-ana Mikan” is strictly managed from producing stage to shipping stage by the Cooperative Distribution Center.
The first priority of Ma-ana Cooperative Distribution Center is keeping high quality and stable producing, and we continue our efforts as pioneer of citrus fruit production.
The agricultural industry in Japan faces to severe environment at the moment.
We try to find out some new approaches for next generation, and hope it will contribute to a reconstruction of agricultural industry in Japan.
We take care of all environmental issues around us and keep going on by focusing on “the thing the best production area must do” rather than “the only thing the best production area can do”.
We believe unlimited possibilities of future agriculture, and ship to you “Tasty Ma-ana Mikan” by continuing utmost efforts.
